~~~~ DAN FRIEL
Dan Friel creates intense, colorful and intricate instrumentals that, for all their complexity, are melodic pop songs. Equally at home in the DIY scene and the contemporary art world, Friel has been at the forefront of a movement of musicians who create dance music with an affinity for the extremes of noise & metal, eschewing the traditional dance clubs & adhering to the ethics of the underground.
~~~ NYLON VIPER
Nylon Viper is loopy hardware-based rhythmic noise/techno/etc. Slightly damaged synth-and-drum-machine-based danceable forms for introverts. Brooklyn via the Midwest.
~~ PASSIVE TONES
Passive Tones (Karl Hohn & Ezra Teboul) are just two boys and their noise toys. They create lush, richly textured instrumental music from a palette of analog instruments, homemade effects, 8-bit electronics, and thrift-store cassettes. Their debut EP was released on Afternoons Modeling in December of 2016.
